Waiting around

So I thought I was gonna start this blog when I got into Med School and track my progress through. But since I haven't gotten into med school yet (and it's not looking likely) I will start it now, and track starting with the application cycle.

Of course I will add the appropiate "blogging" material, like my stance on different subjects so that you all may be enthralled with the innerworkings of my head (as if you really needed that). And lists, reviews, and other stuff that are typical of blogs.

So for my first "med school application" entry, I put this: I am nearly finished filling out AMCAS (for the 3rd time, mind you) and I am gonna wait a couple more weeks to submit, in the event that one of my 4 waitlists pans out (UMaryland, EVMS, Temple, NYMC). At this point, I am not holding my breath. I am probably going to be applying to around 20 schools, getting a pretty wide range so that I can get in somewhere. What's the saying? Third time's the charm? Let's hope so, or I guess med school wasn't in the plan. I have also decided that this will be my last time applying.

That's all for now. I plan to update regularly. But we'll see how that goes, especially when I go home next week and move back to dial up. I was home this weekend, and it was painful on the slow internet, but I can save that for a time this summer, when I really am sick of dial up.
